We just moved to London. We're central (Piccadilly.)

DC are 2 and 3, neither are registered in schools. We're looking for schools that would start at age 3 or 4 that are not too far away (a walk away would be good,) that have a good reputation, good academically and will let them be themselves.

We're happy to pay.

Where would you recommend?

My friends children go to soho parish c of e primary school. They love it and I must say from the things they have told me it sounds amazing. Outstanding ofstead too as far as I'm aware.

Do you have boys or girls? Are you interested in single sex or co Ed?

Also, are you British or have you moved from abroad?

I went to visit the soho state school as it’s around the corner from my work. Incredible use of outdoor space and limited indoor space (very soho, like a rabbits warren). Great use of resources from local community. Wasn’t impressed by the Head so we didn’t option it.

It might be worth getting hold of a copy of the Good Schools Guide for London (North). You can see where all the schools listed are in each area.
