Hi, I have just applied to do my NPQML and was wondering if anyone would mind sharing an exemplar with me . I want to see what the course really entails before I totally commit. Any help would be great fully received.

I haven't done this but I am intrigued.
Are you already a middle leader? Or is your goal to become one?

You should have a combination of online learning (which will be interactive- you will have a facilitator) and face to face days. You will complete a project, which will be assessed against leadership competencies. Your school or the provider should have examples of projects, so that you can see what's involved.
Good luck with the course- most people find it interesting and useful, though it does involve time commitment.

I think you get what you prepare to put in.
I did this quite half heartedly so only did a bit of extra reading and watch a few videos on their websites. Total independent study time about 10-15 hours. Time to do the assignment 2 evenings. I still passed without any problems. It is useful to have on your cv if you want to go further up.
Does it help me or improve me in anyway as a teacher or HoD? I don't think so.
