We don't have it on new home pc in the past I have bought from Software4students but it seems to be more expensive than in the past.

Any recommendations? Ebay has cheap downloads anyone used that sort of buyer?

Thank you.

Can you not use OpenOffice or libre office they do the same things but are free.

I just use Libre. It does the same job for free

I agree, get a free office program. I have WPS Office, used to be known as Kingsoft Office. Available for Windows or Android devices.

I wouldn't buy from some random e-bay seller, you have no idea what you might be getting or what it might do to your computer.

Have you checked whether your child's school/university/college is signed up for Office 365 for Education? If they are, pupils may be able to use the online versions of Office for free.

You shouldn't have to buy it - I'm a student and I just downloaded it for free from their website

Most schools/colleges/unis have it free for students to use. Check there first, also if you had it on an old PC you should be able to redownload it on new PC if you have the serial number(s).

I bought a licence from Amazon for under £15. It works perfectly and is not the rubbish 365 subscription either.
