DC is going into P1 in September bed autistic so going into the learning support unit there are only 3 of these in my town. The first one I applied for he didn't get into the to there being no places. But I still haven't heard if he's gotten into his second choice been ringing the special education board the last 2 weeks unable to get through to even an operator. Tried ringing the school to see of they knew anything but I don't think they're back yet..
I've never had to do any of this before, new territory for me.
I'm reaching out to wise mnetters to see if they can help. I live in northern Ireland btw.
