Hi - this Saturday there's a family friendly conference in Oxford for parents, governors, teachers, teaching assistants, carers... anyone who cares about education really!
There's a children's conference running in parallel and a question time with parliamentary candidates straight after.

If you're interested you can book on oxfordeducationday.eventbrite.co.uk

This looks really interesting. Are there are a limited number of tickets, esp for the kids event? Thanks.

This looks good! Hope to see you there. Do you know what's going to be discussed? Is Nicola Blackwood going to turn up?
Thanks,
M

Hi - yes places are limited. The kids' conference will be run by Oxford Woodcraft Folk and should be a lot of fun.
Please do book your places so you don't miss out!
Loving the name btw!

The main themes will include cuts to school funding, testing in primary schools and selection (the proposals around grammar schools).
The Conservatives have now confirmed that they will send a candidate for the Question Time. It's the Oxford East candidate, rather than Nicola Blackwood though.
Hope you can make it!
