Daneshill vs Sherfield, Hook

Hi All,

We need to send our son this September to Year R school. We found mixed reviews about Sherfield but not much information on Daneshill school. Anyone has any experience or opinion on these two schools?

Daneshill is a lovely school for year R. I wouldn't hesitate to send him there. They are so caring, you can't fault the pastoral care and it's a lovely environment too - plenty of playing fields & fun stuff. Good educational standards too.

They've had a rough couple of years (which I don't want to plaster over the Internet, but it was sad losses of senior staff, not 'ofsted' type rough). Whilst still sad of course, it is all sorted now.

Sheffield was a fantastic experience for older children (I'm not saying it wasn't good for younger ones, I just don't have any personal experience). They were amazing through some serious ill health resulting in missed attendance and great with friends kids with mixed abilities.
