School Admission Dilemma - what would you do?

Last summer I toured a potential school in another country for dd, followed by a long friendly chat with the admissions director. The admissions director and I then emailed back and forth several times to arrange a time for her to meet/assess dd over the Christmas break.

A month after the assessment, I wrote the admissions director an email thanking her for seeing dd out of normal testing times, and saying that we hoped very much to be offered a place at the school. I asked if the school would like me to post them dd's most recent teacher assessment - no reply.

About 2 weeks ago, I called the school to see if they had received the information required from dd's current school. I was told that all forms had been received. I asked if the letter from the admissions department could be sent via email rather than post as International email takes about a week, and there is a very short response window. I was told to email the request to the admissions director, which I did. No reply.

Letters were mailed to applicants yesterday. I emailed the admissions office this morning to ask if they could email me the letter, or if I could call to be told if dd has been offered a place. There has been no reply.

What would you do?

Phone them.

yeah, call them. Or if they've closed for the weekend already email, and phone them on Monday

Good luck

Hmm. Maybe I should call. It's nervewracking, and I've never been good at waiting. This must be the busiest time of the year for them, so don't want to pester them. But if I lived in the same city, chances are that I would have had the letter today.
