Hurlingham school or Fulham prep?

Hello! My son has been offered a place at both schools and I am looking for opinions re the Hurlingham. I liked it better when I visited it but I would like to hear from someone who has children there. Many thanks!

Hello! I was wondering what option you ended up taking and why. I believe that we may be getting an offer from both too and trying to understand the differences between each.

We ended up choosing Hurlingham school and we are very happy with the choice. My son has been florishing there. It was not our obvious choice- we live in Fulham- but the commuting is not bad, school has great facilities, the headmaster is very good and always paying attention to everything. You can tell he is behind everything planned or done at school. It is a very nurturing school, parents are easygoing and my son has really changed and he is really happy. I basically trusted my gut. I loved the atmosphere when I first visited the school. FP did not impress me at all, I found it disorganised and I think it’s very popular in Fulham just because it’s easy to get in if you register in advance. Children are still having lunch in a container outside because there is no common dining place! For that amount of money?! No thanks. Having said that, I have friends whose children are happy there. I would say trust your gut! Good luck!
