What to ask or check for at Parents Evening?

Hi all,

DD is in yr 1 and we have our Parents Conference coming up. Any tips on what we should check or ask?

I usually ask if there is anything they would like me to work on at home with DC

Let teacher know if you have any areas of concern

Otherwise just try and get a general view of how they are going in each subject./ socially

Thanks. She has some complex needs so it gets a little tricky but school has been great actually.

Ask about behaviour/friendships?

Where she is in relation to where she was at end of Reception?

What does she find easy? What does she struggle with? How can you help?

What does the teacher think are her chances of meeting the end of Y1 expectations?
