I am moving to Norwich and am wondering about sending dd to the steiner school.
Does any one have experience of steiner education? and or the Norwich school?

Steiner eduction-yes. Went myself to steiner kindergarten, grew up in "religion" associated with it. I know a fair bit about it.

Ds is due to start kindergarten in a couple of weeks. Both my kids have been through p/t groups with them.

Norwich-not directly (am in Cardiff) but I know of it through PIL. I know it has a good rep in steiner circles. Am hoping to visit out of nosiness quite soon.

Anything you specifically wanted to know?

Hi Ellie and Filly,

I guess I was just wondering about the whole ethos thing... I went to a steiner kintergarden as a child in kent, and loved it, the freedom to be a child etc. But i'm not that 'up' on steiner myself, and wonder if you are expected to be a militant steinerist (here i go making up words again!)
or if they are relaxed about people sending their children even if the parents arent in the know about the entire philosophy.. bit of a ramble there sorry!
