Help - are there any teachers or others out there who know what levels, children in yr 4 at primary school should be reaching.
I have tried to look on the DFES website but just got bogged down with other stuff.
Can you point me in the right direction please

www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/primaryframeworks/literacy/learningobjectives/

from this page you can look at learning objectives for different aspects of Literacy

www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/primaryframeworks/mathematics/learningobjectives/Years/Year4/

this has links for year 4 maths

They're expected to be a 2B in year 2 and level 4 by yr6 SATs which are taken in May.
So by yr4 you would hope to be about 3C but don't panic if not.

a low 3 by the end of the year
ish
so that they can be a high 3 by end of year 5 and a solid middle 4 by end of year 6

but all children are different
and targets will have been set based on what they got at ks1 sats
