Very confused as moving to new area possibly to be near mum with cancer
All local schools full for son who needs year 2 place apart from one.
So that's fine, little drive not too far however they are full for reception starting this year for other son.
They can add him to waiting list but we would only have until January to play with as he is born September.
What I don't understand is that they have 45 children for the reception intake, 22 in one class and 23 in another so surely that's under the agreed ratio of 30?
Where it he's confusing is that year 1 and year 2 are then mixed together making 3 classes of 30 so that's where taking him would exceed the number.
So how would an appeal work?
Confused ;(
