Technology in school

My son is going to secondary school in the new school year and the school as a major focus on use of technology in the class room. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with their children learning from technology?

By tech do you mean tablets, or something else?

DCs school use ipads. A lot depends on the individual teachers - some use it more creatively than others. It is just another tool.
