Suggestions for donating school uniforms

My children's school will be amalgamating with two other local schools after the summer and all will be wearing a new uniform.

Does anyone have any suggestions,ideas or experience of what could be done with the old school uniforms. They all be in good condition and there will be several hundred uniforms involved.

It might be worth talking to local Churches to see if they sponsor schools in developing countries. Our local Catholic Church does and often has collections for school supplies.

My daughter's school access donations which are then sent to a school in Africa. It is organised using someone who has a contact there, and I think she delivers the uniform personally when she visits.

Good idea to ask local churches though.
