AS Edexcel micro economics exam today

The entire year group are in shock, the exam paper was nothing like the specimen paper. Expecting mass fails/dropped grades. Anyone else experience the exam? Any feedback ?

My DS did it today. Said it was tough - rest of group thought the same

Aha, yes, rushed, they ran out of time for the long answer. Often when new papers are written examiners can misjudge the time needed so papers are adjusted for future, but what happens to our cohort??

Examiners have a meeting.
They realign the grade boundaries to this year's marks.

I do hope so, it's so frustrating when either a tiny piece of the specification is a long answer or when the 4 or 5 marks take so long that candidates run out of time. Blue, do you have any idea in % terms A,B,C grades awarded? Is it consistent across the years?
