I am thinking of sending my son to Lanesborough in September, he will be going into year 5, any thoughts on the school

Is a good school. Less glossy sport facilities than some.
Where is he now? Where do you aim to send him for seniors? Is he musical?

we are moving to godalming, we will consider rgs for secondary

Okay Lanesborough will advise as to whether RGS is the best senior school for your son, and lots go on to other good schools.
From Godalming I have also know boys go to: Aldro, Barrow Hills and the Haslemere Preps.
