Both positive and negative experiences welcome please. Dithering whether to try this for ds 16.

MNHQ Update
This is a very old thread, but if you've come across it while on the hunt for similar recommendations, our guide to the best online tutoring options has been recently updated. It includes a wide range of options for kids of all ages and budgets of all sizes, all based on recommendations from Mumnset families. We hope it's helpful! Flowers

We tutored with NDN (a retired maths teacher but not a maths specialist) for GCSE and now use this for A level. It is working well, but we haven't found the right tutor for physics.

We had some tutoring from Spires for GCSE and my son has moved through to A Levels, still using them occasionally! He loves his Maths tutor, would definitely recommend using Spires.

Tbh, my ds in y9, is patchy on maths. We have tried the CGp maths demo. It is great. Try it here. For 12 quid, over 3 years, it's a good bargain.
