Mixed Race Child

My daughter is mixed race and she will be attending St Catherine. Does anyone have any experience with their child who is mixed race attending the school. Will my child feel isolated and different?

Did you mean to post this in MN Local, vitasha? I'm assuming there's a few St Catherine schools in the UK, so you need to say where yours is.

My daughter is attending St Catherine independent school in Twickenham

By bizarre coincidence, I live locally (and also have a mixed race daughter). Sadly it stops there as my kids don't attend St Catherine's, but as I'm sure you know round here she will certainly be in the minority though unlikely to be the only non-white child in her class.

Why not try posting this thread on the MN Richmond upon Thames board?

I frequently drive past and its certainly not a white monocromic school. However I cent tell you how many mixed race girls there are or what the composition of your dad's year group would be
