The Mall or KingsHouse and afterschool care.

We are looking at these 2 schools for reception for our son.Both schools seem good. Although I am more keen on Kingshouse.Would be great to hear from someone with direct experience about these schools. Also bit worried about the after school care of Kingshouse which is only upto 5 pm. We were looking for afterschool care upto 6 pm. Would love to hear, how other parents manage and what other afterschool care they use, if not the one provided by the school.

Expect you may have already considered Newland House but we chose NH over both of those schools and our DC are thriving there. The pre-prep is fantastic - the head there is superb. Care outside school hours has also gone from strength to strength in recent years: there's after school care til 6, breakfast club or supervision from 7:30 am and holiday club too, should you need it.
