but you lot are just jealous cos you cant get your kids in without having to go to church.

well let me tell you

i've sat through hours of boring holilies telling me the meaning of the gospel which only took 2 mins to geoffin read - without priestyman going on with himself for another 20

so i've done my time - i served my time, i paid my dues.

its not my fault state education stinks.

oh and i am so sorry (not) that your taxes go to pay for my childrens education - and you cant even come inside without being burned haa haaa haaa haaa haaa

Who is this Christ you speak of?

Tortington · 07/12/2006 14:52

nothappened at same time - clebrated at the same time. - there was a time we ere just doing anything ( bit like the anglican church still does) to get peole to be christian

however does not negate the reason of the celebration

right am off to have eyebrow waxing ordeal please carry on arguing without me i will be back at 11pm ish and expect over 100 posts.

If you want your children molested by paedophiles while they mumble superstitious nonsense, that is entirely up to you. Science can never be taught properly at these superstition-based schools, anyway, and your children will be lowly paid with thier arts qualifications, not super-earners like me. Although catholic Schools do have thier good points - I learned my taste for sado-masochistic sex in one. I like it best when Mrs Connor puts on her black nail varnish, bends me over the .....oh, hang on, under-qualified over-paid women in the office need my attention, back later....

WhenSantaWentQuietlyMad · 07/12/2006 14:55

Darn - missed it custardo, was too wrapped up fantasising about older men on the other thread.

I have to go out too but will try to keep stoking the fires until you get back.

LittleSarah · 07/12/2006 14:55

Enjoy your waxing, hope you have some hair left.

Just so you know my daughter will be attending the Incredibly Secular School for Heathens International and we will attend church together so we can heckle the minister/madman to our hearts content.

Merry Christmas!

DominicConnor · 07/12/2006 14:56

Oh, now if you;'re talking about Pagans, I quite like them. Nothing like a wicked wicca to tower over you with her wand.

Judy1234 · 07/12/2006 15:00

Sadly no church schools in the state sector seem to get close to the exam results of private schools. My mother and also I decided to impart the Catholicism at home and buy a better education than the church schools provide.

NotAnOtter · 07/12/2006 15:03

have you two got it together yet

DominicConnor · 07/12/2006 15:04

Well, there you are Custy - your homilies have only earned you a second rate education for your children - so not everyone is jealous!

And I would like to take issue with being called a heathen. I live in Hackney, nowhere near Hampstead Heath.

And since you started this thread to row, why is this the only thread no-one is rowing with me on?

DominicConnor · 07/12/2006 15:06

NotAnOtter

I'm keeping very discreet about the matter, if you don't mind.

There has been a complication as i am very attracted to the STRENGTH of Xenia's mothers views on education and catholicism, and it has caused some jealousy.

be sensitive, if you can.

WhenSantaWentQuietlyMad · 07/12/2006 15:23

Well, let's be honest, everyone knows that the reason Church schools get better results is that religious people are more intelligent.

Atheists are known to be immoral dullards, and who would want their children associating with them, regardless of intelligence?

DizzyBinterWonderland · 07/12/2006 15:35

when i was at school the local catholic high school was well known as being the roughest school in the area. the girls were all known for being easy.

i went to a catholic primary school, was fantastic. my grandad was the head teacher, you 'd have loved him i'm sure Dominic.

WhenSantaWentQuietlyMad · 07/12/2006 15:37

Well you know what they say about Catholic girls....

Mind you the only girls I know who lost their virginity before they were 16 went to secular schools. Of course that could be a co-incidence?

LittleSarah · 07/12/2006 15:40

How dare you??!!

See here for some intelligent religious symbolism...

spaghetti

LittleSarah · 07/12/2006 15:42

'Mind you the only girls I know who lost their virginity before they were 16 went to secular schools.'

Well if we are going on anecdotal evidence a girl at my non religious comp had slept with 17 boys by the time she was 17!!

Perhaps all she needed was faith in the Lord??

I on the otherhand made it past my 16th birth intacto, so, clearly I have some principles despite my heathenism...?? Or maybe it was just cos no one fancied me??

WhenSantaWentQuietlyMad · 07/12/2006 15:44

Actually it's a lie anyway. One girl at our Catholic school "disappeared" in 5th year and was later seen pushing a pram....

LittleSarah · 07/12/2006 15:58

Tut tut tut... lying, what shall we do with you?

Judy1234 · 07/12/2006 16:58

DC my mother's dead now though so she can only be attractive in spirit. Mind you in the 1960s she did turn up to collect us from school looking like Jackie Kennedy, very pretty. A good look. When I went through her clothes I was hoping to find all those 1960s things but not a single thing was there from that time. What a shame.

had 2 catholics round here the other night looking for us lapsed. Dunno what's the matter with me, I just felt compelled to tell 'em I was brought up Catholic.

They gave me a necklace (prayer thing) and a prayer book with a prayer entitled Miracles or something. I just stopped short of saying, yeah and it would take a bloody miracle...

Need to send 'im inddors to answer the door in future...

Tortington · 07/12/2006 23:40

oh my word! thats terrible. evangelical catholics - i thought we just had to kinda own up to it rather than preach to people.

what is the world coming to. catholics knocking at doors? terrible

OP posts:
WhenSantaWentQuietlyMad · 08/12/2006 09:47

That is desperate Huw. Mind you, are you sure they weren't the new Evangelical types in disguise as Catholics?

LOL @ giving you a book called Miracles.
