Thames Sutton primary schools state/private?

I wonder if anyone has any advice on state or private schools in Thames ditton area. I have looked at a couple but I'm not blown away by them, where do your children go?!?

DS was at Claygate Primary which was good but not great but that's with the limitations that any primary school has. I don't know about other primaries that much but I've not heard bad things. Rowan Prep seems to have a good reputation. Milbourne Lodge has the reputation of being a bit of a hothouse prep, seeking to get children into schools like Eton etc. - yet has cramped conditions, portacabin classrooms, poor sports facilities and therefore loves to describe itself as shabby chic... much more shabby than chic. Shrewsbury House has a good reputation and I've known a number of boys there that love the place - and some that moved from Danes Hill for various reasons.
