I've suddenly realised my DDs break up from school next Friday ...

15 th for us too, at lunchtime, and my presence is required in school for various stuff, this fri afternoon, mon afternoon and tues afternoon - eeer why am i on here??

18th for us, because they've made the 19th an inset day. DH has been ordered to take a day off during that week so I can get out without them.

Ours break up on the 15th too. As usual it's all crept up on me a bit.

Dd breaks up tomorrow (8th) but the rest of the school finishes on 15th so I'm a bad mummy taking her child out of school. We're flying home tomorrow night and I can't wait! We fly back on 5th Jan so I'm guessing school will restart the Monday after that.

I just LOVE walking through arrivals in Dublin airport at Christmas - they were putting up the 'Nollaig Shona' sign when I was there recently. I think that's what it says but despite honours Irish, I've retained very little!

My dd finishes on Wednesday at 1pm - goes back on 10th !!! very long hols for working mummy to cover !

My friend who is a teacher not far away breaks up TODAY !!

DD breaks up next Thursday, the 14th, at noon - straight after the carol service we are invited to at 11am. She goes back on Tuesday 9th January.
