Hi...can anyone help? We've moved to Somerset and we're thinking of sending our DD as a day girl to All Hallows'. Does anyone have any insider knowledge of how it's doing with the new Head? What other options am I missing in that neck of the woods?

Thanks for any and all help.

We looked at All Hallows a couple of years ago, but when the old head was there, and liked it, but didn't choose it in the end, mainly because DD was likely to be going to a school with entry at 11, and they are very much geared up for exams at 13. I know people who are pleased with it, but also one child who was removed because they felt that the children weren't adequately supervised.

Depending on which side of the school you are on, there is also Hazelgrove (v posh), Bruton School for Girls (which I also really liked but wasn't right for DD) and Springmead in Beckington, which is smaller and more nurturing. Then also all the Bath schools. PM me if you want more details...

@getinthesea I have been reviewing a few feeds on information about local schools to Warminster and came across your post. I don't suppose I could pick your brains? I appreciate the original post was very old! Thanks
