11plus resources--help!!

Hi,

Does anyone know of any good 11+ resources i could use for free. Not sure whether to go do the route of finding a tutor (could be slightly expensive - but not totally ruling it out) but thought i'd see whether there are any free resources to use. Any help would be much appreciated. I've used Bond's books which are ok but just wondering whether anyone has had success with other resources out there.

Thank you!

Check out the 11+ exam forum.. a fantastic website with lots of links to resources, some free, some not. Good luck.

was just coming on to suggest 11+ forum.

The exam is different in different areas so it really depends where you are and which exam you dc will do.

How old are they? Which year group?

We use a mixture of Bond and GL Assessment papers....check the website of the schools you are aiming at to see what they base their exam format on. GL Assessment do the exams for our prospective high school.

CPG are quite reasonable.

I third the eleven plus forum. I found it really useful when my DS was going through it. The Moderators who run it (voluntarily) are extremely helpful. It is split into different counties too so you can find out what is particularly relevant to your area.

However I must warn you that some of the people on there are just a little intense understatement of the year when it came to getting their child to pass the eleven plus.

Good luck with it all.
