Ics- distance learning. Is it recognised?

I was wondering is any one has done any courses with ICS? I'm interested doing a counselling course. I live in a rural location and getting child care is proving do be difficult. Any opinions or recommendations would be gladly received.

Just checking ICS as in What exactly?

I've done course with the International correspondence school but that was many years ago - it was recognised fine, though I didn't do counselling. You might want to look up the specific qualification you're thinking of doing in terms of recognition.

I've also studied via Open university and national extension collegE.

My counselling qualification which was via distance learning was with a now closed provider.
