I know they're c**p, but dd2 eats hardly anything during the school day, but she will eat one of those dreadful things. The apple and clementine come back every day

They came back today saying they'd been told anything in a wrapper wouldn't be allowed in break time. Apparently as an excersise in reducing waste - but then, I buy it, she eats it on the way back from school, I bin the wrapper - so where's that saving waste?

Grrrrrr .... so cross about this one, especially as they're picky eaters.

So, I've fished out some boxes for

I'd write a letter to the school it's just nuts..

lulumama · 01/11/2006 09:42

can you cut it into piece and put it in a tiny tupperware?

rebelmum1 · 01/11/2006 09:42

enclose an unwrapped pepperami and ask them for ideas ..

Cappuccino · 01/11/2006 09:44

you can see the point

you wouldn't want to deal with 30 wrappers fluttering around the playground

rebelmum1 · 01/11/2006 09:44

you can't be the only mum having problems

rebelmum1 · 01/11/2006 09:44

The kids could put them in the bin ..

rebelmum1 · 01/11/2006 09:45

One of these threads where you just want to write the first thing that comes into your head..

"Its just nuts".... But they aren't allowed nuts either!!

I would go with cut it in half and stick it in a little pot.

I've got two that are SO finickery about their food - she'd probably label it as 'doctored grub' if I cut in half and took off the wrapper
