Can anyone suggest any good book that would help my son. He got D for his mock exam. Thanks

Hi, my dd recommends the Edexcel Revision guides; if you type Edexcel AS Government & Politics Unit 1 Revision Guide into Amazon it will bring it up, there's also a Unit 2 Revision Guide - they are really useful as they cover the essentials and show sample questions and answers which show why a higher or lower mark would be given. My dd and her friends find these guides invaluable.

In addition it is important to have examples of, for instance, Weak Leaders and Strong Leaders, or current policies compared with previous policies on particular issues - with these don't rely on text books but see if he can find them from newspapers or other sources - the 'i' newspaper is useful and fairly cheap, or the Economist - useful but not cheap - schools often have it.
