Just got a letter from Colet court Saying our son is on the reserve list. I have been reading 7+ reserve list posts sadly and wondering whether my little man will get a chance this time. www.mumsnet.com/Talk/primary/a1985551-Colet-Court-7-Reserve-list-2014
It was great to hear the stories of Westside dad who got thru the reserve list. Now I wonder whether this is a prolonged good news or bad. I don't know anyone who has done the exam and no one in my sons school has. I am solely depended upon anyone who is kind to let know whether you declined places or whether you are in the same place I am. Please join me in sharing your experiences in this journey to... unknown. Will there be a light at the end of the tunnel........?

Quite a few boys do clear the list. Westminster and kings all report about the same time with the same commitment dates so your best chance of clearing is in the next 10 days or so. After that I wouldn't pun my hopes as it relies on a filly making a big change of plans eg leaving town, losing a job, but it does happen to some degree.

And do ask the school how it is liking - polite commitment is not resented.

Thanks for M... for contributing.Have you been in the situation or know someone is? it would really help in this difficult time I am a mess. I cannot being like this in my own things. Its just he didn't sell himself enough like the others and he will be bored in his school if this opportunity doesn't come.

Yes, I know two boys from the year before last's intake who were called up. One in the settlement week it around the commitment date and one at Easter. I think they slightly over offer but quite a lot of boys get Colet and Wus and they can't take both. Having said which sadly of course lots don't clear. When is commitment date?

The reserve list will most likely move as there are several boys with acceptances at both WUS and CC.

Thank you both for those words it really helps. I really do wish He would get a chance even late. Its this Thursday12 the deadline for confirming. But I was thinking may be the ones who are on waiting list for others but confirmed on this may take the offer and if they get cleared. Fingers crossed got a headache.

Does any one know or have an idea of the deadline for WUS and Kings?

Both deadlines are tomorrow I believe.
