Quick advice needed..... from teachers

Half of dd's class are going to the local secondary school today (and every week until Whitsun) for trampolining. I found out this morning that no member of staff is going with them but the minibus from secondary school is coming to fetch them (presumably with driver/teacher!). Given that I have no confidence in my dd's teacher i need to ask if this is allowed. Can anyone advise?

IS your daughter primary age? If so there are laws about child to adult ratio, it's 1:12 in KS2, chn should be supervised by an adult at all times within these ratios. Also you should have given signed consent for her to go off school grounds, hope this helps, I'm a KS2 teacher by the way

Yes she's year 6 - I did sign a form for her to go off school grounds but I assumed a member of staff would go with them. You think it's okay then?

As long as there are the right number of staff supervising they should be fine
