I am trying to find out more information (I am a new school governor) about becoming a Partner within an Academy Trust. The school has recently become an Academy (in the past 2 years). The school has been approached by an Academy Trust (consisting of 2 other schools). I have an initial thought that why when the school has just gained it's autonomy why would it want to become part of another organisation.
I am doing my own research and have downloaded several articles from Government web sites and other Governor Association sites. Just would appreciate anybody else's point of view/advice.
