dds are having a dressing up day at school on Friday. Theme was national dress but it was pointed out that the ethnically British kids would have a bit of a problem with that - so it is now historical british characters for them. dd2 has a long black skirt and blouse outfit she wore as a victorian teacher in school assembly and we can make a lamp and adapt it for Florence Nightingale. Any ideas for dd1 that don't involve much shopping or elaborate costume construction 'cos I'm at work all week! Cheers.
