DS is 13 and he needs an experiment to prove that plants "respire" ....

If my memory serves me right - is there an experiment with a plastic bag ?????

Any good ideas please ?

Thanks iota ... ... I think I must have got it wrong ... the plastic bag experiment is transpiration rather than respiration ...

Anyone know the respiration experiment ???

isn't there one where the plants are put in bell jars and the air measurd for co2? or am i imagining that.....

does his textbook not have the experiment?
