I,m relocating from the south to Edinburgh and we are looking at housing in Willowbrae. I have 4 year old who would start reception in Aug. I know that Duddingston has a great reputation but know nothing about The Royal High and Parsons Green shools. They feed Portobello High I believe.. is this a good school? Also I heard that it was hard to get into the nursery because of children being taken from outside the catchment. Is this also the case for reception? Any tips, advise and info gratefully recieved.
