I don't really get the point. Just about everyone spouts the currently fashionable buzzwords relevant to whatever sector they work in at job interviews. It's how the system works.

It's problematic when teachers are praised and even promoted for using methods that are either unsupported by evidence or in some cases even actively counterproductive.

OP, you might be interested in this Sutton Trust report that just came out.

I skimmed some of that report. Yes it drops some bombs on some of the tat, but I'm not that charmed by their very brief take on ability grouping which makes me wonder about the credibility of the parts I liked.
