Hi all,
DD1 (10) is very interested in science and she keeps asking me to get her some "science books" but I don't know where to start? She likes biology-type science in particular - I have had a good look on amazon but wasn't particularly sure which books I could get for her.

She was given the Carol Vorderman "science made easy" which she really enjoys, but she said she'd like something a bit more "hands on", maybe with some microscope type experiments, fun games etc..any suggestions?

thanks in advance!!
