Living overseas and doing A level biology online?

Hi- would really appreciate any advice on a good quality A level biology course online. I am overseas and would like to start a course and while there seem to be lots of choices- I don't know anyone who has done this, so I can't compare providers. Any experience? The key for me will be good feedback from tutors on essay questions.

The real problem will be that it is very hard to find somewhere to do the Controlled assessments, which I believe are part of all Biology A'level courses now. I think some providers have stopped offering it for that reason.

Any ideas about online colleges with good reputations?

How is the student going to be able to do the controlled assessments (practical work in other words)?

I will be back in uk now and then- I could make a plan with controlled assessments and the actual exam- it's more about the quality of the tutors and the resources on line. It's impossible to tell from their websites, and this is not an area I know anything about - I just wondered if there was a go to company for good quality.

A new A level syllabus being introduced which will be taught from September 2015. It looks as if Controlled Assessments will no longer count towards the final grade. See link www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-26955452.
The exam boards would recommend schools or colleges where you can go to take the exams and practical assessments.
The other alternative may be to consider taking the international A level which will have exam centres overseas.

Thanks
