Anyone really surprised with how their child settled?

Ds has recently started school nursery. Not a tear, just a Bye mummy, see you later. Kiss and wave.
Totally amazed.

Anyone else? Or the reverse, you thought they'd be fine and they actually took ages to settle?

my ds who was 4 in august started last monday.he's only doing mornings until january but i havent had one tear yet, except when he didnt want to come home at lunchtime! he runs off ith his bookbag waving.some of the kids who started at the beginning of september are still clinging to their mums at the gates.mine loves it though.he was the same at nursery.
