Other mum thought I was a teacher today!!

We were early at school today and arrived in the playground just as they were bringing the before school club children out. I saw a little girl whose mum I have spoken to a few times at parties trying to put her coat on upside down so I helped her to put it on. Meanwhile another mum (with child clinging round her legs arrived.

I reckon she wanted to talk to someone about the clinginess, totally ignored the real teacher and came up to me saying are you one of the teachers

I'm not sure whether it was a compliment or not.

You obviously look like a figure of authority

I was once asked if I was my kids nanny !

Lol at tired harassed and stressed. I do work with children at weekends so to me it was just natural to help out. Saw the mum of the upside down coat girl today. Apparently she always struggles with it bless her.
