Pros & cons?

Good & bad?

It was a red letter day when Waitrose took over from Somerfield! The brewery shop is a brilliant off licence too.

CiderwithBuda - can I ask what changes are happening at Kings Taunton with regard to Saturday school? ds is potentially going there in 2015 as a day pupil so we don't need Saturday school but intrigued that they may be changing it.

Actually it's Kings Hall I'm thinking of inthename - they stopped Saturday school.

ah ok, perhaps the senior school will follow!

Sherborne is lovely though 'town & gown' split?

Plus I'd be too near too school for a boarding teenager?

Although does have a new Waitrose - ironic after the Tesco campaign?

Bridport has Waitrose too but also a hatter's shop and beach.

How about Bruton & Sexey's?

Sexeys is a good school. It's state not private sector so would be harder to get a place.

I went to pick someone up from Dorchester South (or was it West?) recently. Hadn't been for ages. You've got a Pizza Express!

used to be on Poundbury but moved to a village.
