Hello- we are moving to Exeter.
We need to live fairly central & I've heard St Leonard's is a nice area with a nice state primary.
Can any Mumsnetters confirm?
Any other central areas with nice state primary's?
Thanks in advance x

It is a nice area. The primary is well thought of. You need to consider secondary too though...the one in st Leonard's is not so well thought of (although our next door neighbours' kids went there and were fine).

St. Peter's is fine. It's not the local secondary for st Leonard's though, that's Isca. Plenty of people from st Leonard's go there, true - but you have to fulfil the religious requirement I think (we're Catholics so it's different for us, St. Peter's is where most of the Catholics go no matter where they live unless they want to go elsewhere eg colyton or the posh schools). Some of the village primaries are very good, also the one in Topsham (which is also a lovely area in which to live).
