A friend of mine is aiming to send her DS there. She's asked me to look at his maths/writing (as I'm an ex-teacher) and tell her what he needs to work on over the summer. I'm more than happy to look, but she doesn't seem to know what he'll need to do at the assessment day (Story writing, comprehension, maths test, verbal/non-verbal reasoning?????) or what level he needs to be at to have a realistic chance of getting in. He's very bright but English isn't their first language.
