Leicester Wifi in Schools?

Does anyone know of a Primary School in Leicester/leicestershire which does not have WiFi. As a parent whoes child has already survived cancer I would prefer a WiFI free school. If you love having wifi at your kids school please do not reply. I do not need jokes about foil hats or whatever. Just helpful info if anyone knows? I do not want to home school.

I think you will find it very difficult to find, wifi free schools are in the very small minority. Teachers will have laptops and some SN pupils need them. Also staff will have smart phones and they are generally wifi enabled. Perhaps look for a private school although again I can't imagine many, if any, are wifi free.

Agree. The gov't in the UK doesn't take the potential dangers of wifi seriously in this country. Others (France possibly?) have banned it in their schools. Trouble is, it's obviously easy to install compared to a wired system.

Have a look here, but it might not be accurate or up to date.

I doubt you'd find anywhere. And of course there is wifi signal covering much of the street so you'd have to keep her at home (in the middle of the house to avoid neighbour's wifi) if you don't want her exposed to it.

I think it's more about a safe distance for the child to be away from the router or wifi-enabled laptop. Not sure what is considered a safe distance, though.
