We have been researching on schools around bracknell for our 3 year old girl...we believe it would help if we start her off at a school nursery now so she can comfortably progress to Reception and make some friends already. Been to see EH nursery and we were really pleased, both in terms of the facilities and the curriculum. I am keen on academics and I find that the day nurseries (at least the one that she goes to now) are not doing enough to prepare children for Reception. I was particularly happy that the EH curriculum covered numeracy/literacy lessons, along with plenty of play and learn techniques and extra curricular activities. I am very keen on EH, but would really want to hear from moms on their views about the school, esp if you have/had children going to EH? The ISI reports are excellent, but I am looking for some real feedback from anyone who has had any experience with children in this school.
We are also considering Holme Grange as an option, havent been to see the school yet, so would welcome any feedback on this school as well.
