Collis, Hampton Wick Junior, or Stanley do you have any experience of any of these. I know Collis is good, but what about the others?

Hi - I live in Twickenham, not Teddington but know abit about your local schools.

Collis seems to be the choice of the moment amongst people in Teddington, but from what I have heard is really difficult to get into unless you live almost on the doorstep. If you put this down as your first choice and didn't get in, your child might get sent somewhere you really don't want them to go.

I have heard good things about Stanley school and know a number of people who will be sending their children there. They also has a nursery attached which is useful.

Don't know anything about Hampton Wick Junior I'm afraid.

Both my children go to Stanley Primary School and I cannot praise it enough, very friendly and very supportive should your child have any learning problems.

They are all very good.

Word of mouth says Hampton Wick is lovely.

All very good, mine both went through Collis and it was very good. It is a very big school now - 4 form entry, HW is much smaller. The Head at Stanley Junior is excellent I believe.
