DD1 is starting lessons in September but as yet we have not got an instrument. Did you hire one first and if so would you recommend the shop/internet site? Have been told about Britten's music store, Wigmore St, London and they charge £20 per month with an option to buy back and have your rental costs deducted but that is still more expensive than the Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme!
Any advice greatly appreciated.
