Ofsted reports re. pastoral care

Am I right in thinking this...? That Ofsted used to investigate and report on the pastoral care provided by secondary schools but it doesn't under do so under the new framework. Is that correct?

OFSTED now give judgements on 4 areas: leadership & management, Teaching, Behaviour and Attainment. If you read a report for a school you are interested in cmemt on the quality of pastoral care will come under behaviour and perhaps leadership and management.

Thanks! Am I right that they used to have a separate section of the report that had to comment specifically on Pastoral Care?

There used to be a grade given for "care, guidance and support" and before that "how well the school cares for its pupils". Reports only seem to mention behaviour, safety and bullying now.

ISI reports for independent secondary schools have a specific section for "pastoral care" - perhaps you have read one of these.
