Independent School Inspection

If an independent school is inspected, the school still haven't announced the results several weeks later and your child tells you the inspectors are coming back again, would you assume the school had failed?

The inspection report doesn't appear to be up on the independent inspectorate website either - so could it just be taking a while to process?

It takes 3-4 school weeks for an inspection report to be published. We were done a month ago and our parents got the report on Friday but it hasn't yet appeared on the ISI website. I think that the school has 1 week to publish to parents from when the school receives the final version.

Thank you.

In that case I think the school must have it this week and we will probably have to wait a little longer to see the report.

I think ISI gives schools the chance to address some of the issues and then returns. My kids' school certainly had a 2 stage inspection but still came out with a 2 and an outstanding for some areas. I wouldn't read anything into it at all unless you had pre-existing concerns.
