School shirts - where can I get them??

I cant believe it can be so difficult to buy white long sleeved school shirts (aged 4). M&S has been out of stock for 2 weeks (and they cant even order them yet). JL is out of stock. Mothercare dont do them online (although I havent tried in store.

I originally wanted 100% cotton becuase they are cooler and DS1 has to wear a lot of uniform. But now I will settle for poly/cotton (or anything tbh) in his size.

Any tips anyone???

PS I can get them from the school shop of course, but they cost an absolute fortune and I have already spent far too much money in there already...

Have you tried Bhs, Adams, Woolworths and Debenhams?

Tesco? Asda? your local market? All wonderfully cheap so doesn't matter if LO gets felt tip pen all over them in the first week.

Found them on the Adams website. And they appear to be in stock so I have ordered them. I cant believe it can be so difficult to get them!

I also found M & S out of stock which was a real pain as I have lots of M & S vouchers still from last Christmas.

Anyway I got some from Woolworth in the end. I failed on 100% cotton though.

Have you tried Next? I have bought short sleeved shirts for DS1 from there before, I presume they also sell long sleeved ones.

can you not order them from MS and wait for them to come in.

Ive just had an e-mail from Tesco.School uniform can now be bought on-line.Much easier for me as i cant drive.

I got some poly/cotton for ds from Bewise yesterday - 2 long sleeved white shirts for £4. Quality wise seem ok, collar and top button not too stiff.
