Moving to Basildon Essex good primary schools

Hi all,
My family and I are moving to Basildon towards the end of this year. And I was wondering if anyone had any insight in to the local primary schools in that area.. My little one is 5 1/2... And in year 1 at the mo...
I guess I'm looking for some info on what schools are good and which ones not so

I'm afraid it may be a case of which school has a place rather than which one you would like. I work not far from Basildon and know that every school in my area is full in Year 1 with a waiting list so I would expect all the good schools in Basildon to also be full in year 1. It really was a bulge year which the Local Authority had not planned for.

Whereabouts in Basildon will you be? It's my hometown and my sister still lives there so nay be able to offer some insight.
