My DD is born in May what age/intake for nursery?

My DD was born in May 2004 so currently 2 years old - the local school has a nursery from 3 years so would she start in September 2007 when she would be 3 years 4 months or would she wait until September 2008 when she would be 4 years and 3 months - i find the whole intake system very confusing!!

I think they start the term after their 3rd bday, so September 2007.

She'd go into Reception in Sept 2008 so Nursery probably next year, assuming you're in England or Wales not Scotland.

yes its the term after the third birthday so may birthday would be a september start (2007)...

I thnik that a child's nursery place is funded from the term after they are 3 (so September 2007) although some nurseries will let you start earlier (you will need to pay).

I'd suggest phoning the school and asking what their policy is.
